Travel Clinic for International Travel Needs

Our travel clinic nurse, Bonnie Ballard, RN provides patients who will be traveling to a foreign country with the most comprehensive and complete travel counseling.

At a travel clinic appointment, we will present the patient with a health risk assessment and important travel resources, and then administer the appropriate immunizations required or recommended for a specific foreign country. We also provide the International Certificate of Vaccination (the “Yellow Card”) and are a certified yellow fever vaccination center.

One of the best things a foreign traveler can do to prepare for an international journey is to research the countries to which he or she will be traveling. There are many reliable sources of information on climate, political conditions and health risks available on the Internet.

The following is a list of what you should bring to your travel appointment:

• Any immunization records you may have.
• Each foreign country you are traveling to, the departure date and return date.
• Any recommendations from a tour group, church, or cruise line for your international travel.
