Growing Families: Infants to Teens
As board certified family physicians and nurse practitioners, we are committed to comprehensive and current pediatric care. All of our providers have intensive training in both pediatrics and obstetrics. We perform pregnancy tests, and can help you choose your obstetrician. Throughout the pregnancy, we can continue to treat you for illness and preventive care.
We are happy to provide our pregnant patients with an educational Mom & Baby packet of information regarding a healthy pregnancy, breastfeeding, after birth care & newborn care. At baby’s first check up we provide you with a Well Child Check-up Schedule and Immunization Schedules from birth through 18 years.
We see infants for their first well child check-up from as early as 3 days to 14 days old. Should you choose to bring your whole family to our clinic, you will have the added convenience of addressing your entire family’s health care needs at one location. A whole family approach to medical care is important when one considers the interplay of illnesses between family members.
FWC is proud to be a member of the nationally recognized “Reach Out And Read” program. Starting at six months and continuing to five years, your child will receive an age-appropriate book at each of your child’s well child checkups – absolutely free of charge.
Our clinic is also proud to offer our Developmental Screening Program utilizing the Ages & Stages Questionnaire for children age 9 months, 18 months, and 24 months at their well child check-ups.
Finally, your specific needs and desires during your child’s growth will be our priority. We will provide a careful, hands-on approach while at the same time, tailoring personalized care to meet your child’s specific health needs. Our goal is to keep you and your family healthy and promote a healthy lifestyle and well being for children, from infants to teens.
See if you and your family qualify for WIC, a nutrition education program for pregnant women, new and breastfeeding moms and children under the age of 5.
